About

Hi! I'm Oarabile
Black, African and Queer.

Those are the words best used to describe me. There are many labels one can attach to me: student, writer, daughter, sibling, friend, etc. However none of these labels accurately describe how I approach society and how society approaches me. My worldview is that of a person who is black, African and queer. That is what Rad Femme Enby is about; it is a collection of words, lines and paragraphs told through my eyes. The world from my perspective, stories from my life (and my imagination), as well as tips on how to survive medical school.

The name "Rad Femme Enby" is simply a play on words which mean: radical feminist, femme & non binary. I am a non binary femme, who happens to be a radical (intersectional) feminist. I write about my experiences as a queer person, what it's like being in the medical field, and more notably, I write short stories and poetry.

In a nutshell, my name is Oarabile Mamashela and my pronouns are they/them/theirs. Welcome to my blog, I hope you will love it here as much as I do.
